We stayed for trip and would love to return. The best part was the full English breakfast. The personnel was really helpful as expected. This hotel had a remote position in the nearest pub. Plus, it was just off family owned broch, Helpful in arranging restaurant, and mainland Scotland.

The breakfast was excellent with amazing home-cooked options, and Catherine's warm hospitality. I also loved the charming creaky floors and the beautiful grounds which are perfect for a relaxing stroll.
While Thrumster House has character, it does feel a bit tired and could use some updates to meet modern expectations. The electric heater didn't quite cut it on a chilly night, but the electric blanket kept us cozy enough.

Wick vibes and a lovely stay ☕🏰
We seemed like royalty in this old mansion! Big comfy room with a cool view. The brekkie was next level, enjoyed it in the fancy dining room! Plus, the resident dogs were such a sweet touch.
Only thing, the heating at night could've been better. It got a bit nippy!

Staying at Thrumster House felt unique and full of history. The charming antique decor created a cozy atmosphere. The hosts, especially Catherine, provided a warm welcome. Breakfast was high quality, with delicious home-cooked options. The picturesque grounds were perfect for a relaxing walk, and I enjoyed interacting with the friendly resident dogs. The room needed some freshening up. The wallpaper showed signs of wear. The heating was insufficient at night. While the character of the house is good, some areas need an update to enhance the comfort of guests.
